Distance Learning
Students may enrol at any time during the academic year for either the Distance Learning Degree or Diploma Programs, thereby ensuring minimal impact on lifestyle and current employment commitments.
Structure and Sequence
Our study curricula for distance learning and digital education Degree and Diploma programs are presented with structured syllabi, PDF Books (the majority of which are at no charge to the student), videos/webinars, and assignments and provides engagement and support between the course tutor and students as well as the student and his/her peers.
Students may be assigned an Academic Counsellor to assist in the distance learning process. Students are required to locate a proctor in his/her area in the event they are required to sit for a proctored exam, upon completion of this course.
Research & Case Studies
After completing Module IV of the DNIM Degree, a research study is to be completed. Due to the subject matter of this research document, it might be necessary to conduct case studies in support of the research. The research document can be appended to the PhD, if the student chooses to complete a PhD in Natural and Integrated Medicine.
Dissertation
A dissertation is a requirement of the PhD. Mentors and core faculty advisors are available to assist students in the dissertation process. Details outlining the research/case studies and dissertation will be provided in the student handbook upon registration.
Clinical Externship
A hands-on, observational and practical experience in affiliated hospitals or clinics is required as part of the Degree Program and in some Diploma Programs. Students may complete their clinical externship with more than one practitioner, other than those provided by DBM. In this event, preceptors and practitioners must complete an application and be approved by the Clinical Director and/or Dean.
